Christine Stemmler, born in Göttingen, Germany in 1986, pursued Clarinet studies with Prof. Hans-Dietrich Klaus and Prof. Thomas Lindhorst at the Detmold School of Music and with Prof. Ralph Manno at the School of Music in Cologne , where she received her Master’s Degree with highest honors.
Her musical education is characterized by the participation in master courses, numerous chamber music ensembles and music festivals, e.g. the Boston University Tanglewood Institute , USA. During her studies, Ms. Stemmler was a member of the Essen Philharmonic orchestra academy, where she was later held a temporary contract as Solo and E flat Clarinet.
From 2015-2017, Ms. Stemmler played Associate Principal Clarinet at the Hagen Philharmonic. She regularly works with well-known orchestras such as the Stuttgart Philharmonic , the Hanover State Opera, the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra , the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra and the Dortmund Symphony Orchestra.
Accompanying her orchestral and chamber music work, Christine Stemmler teaches at the Rhein-Kreis Neuss Music School and the Rochus Music School Cologne , and keeps a private studio of students. She is a founding member of the ARUNDOSquintett.
